He has held senior roles at renowned institutions, including Cantor Fitzgerald, Knight Capital Asia, Credit Suisse, and Citigroup, consistently excelling in driving growth and delivering exceptional results.
As the CEO and co-founder of Calyx Peak, a U.S.-based vertical cannabis operator with operations in California, Missouri, and Massachusetts, Howard has been pivotal to the company’s success. Under his leadership, Calyx Peak has achieved remarkable growth. His strategic vision and business acumen have enabled the company to thrive in a competitive market. Calyx Peak’s differing times having operational assets over 400,000 square feet of cultivation and extraction facilities across five states, with retail stores located in Santa Monica, CA, Kansas City, MO, and Swampscott, MA.
In addition to his work at Calyx Peak, Howard has served on the Board of Directors of CARP Growers (Cannabis Association of Responsible Growers), representing the largest association of cannabis producers in the U.S. He was also a member of Financial Stability for California Cannabis (FSCC), which represents 45% of total sales in California, where he worked to pass AB 776, “The Cannabis Credit Protection Act,” a bill aimed at establishing regulatory oversight around credit terms in the cannabis supply chain. Howard also serves on the board of Boom Interactive, a Utah based AI tech company that created editable 3D digital twins from 2D plans used for real estate, security, and asset tracking on properties.
